Research Interests
I concentrate on Computational Aeroelasticity (CAE) including aspects of the following research topics:- Aircraft Aerodynamics and Aeroelastics
- Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
- Computational Structural Dynamics (CSD)
- Flow Grid Deformation Methods
- Aeroelastic Coupling Concepts and Algorithms

At the moment, I am looking for HiWis keen to participate in my research activities and those pursued by our CAE group (Dr. Carsten Braun, Georg Wellmer, Bae-Hong Chen, Lars Reimer) at CATS resp. LFM. You should be interested for instance in Aircraft Aerodynamics, Continuum Mechanics, Numerical Algorithms for Fluid and Structural Dynamics Analysis, Finite Element Methods, Parallel Computing, etc. Please take a look at the following document for a more detailed job description:
