MP2MIXD Converter

MP2MIXD converts formats used by Matteo Pasquali's group to MIXD format, e.g. for visualization with Pager.

Documentation

This is it; one can also look at the source code in the CVS module mp2mixd.

Data Requirements

MP2MIXD will need the ASCII mesh file and optional ASCII data file. It places the info, connectivity and coordinates into MIXD format minf, mien and mxyz files. The RNG data is generated for all exterior block boundaries.

System Requirements

MP2MIXD has been compiled on IRIX 6.x.

Usage

MP2MIXD is usually invoked this way:

/usr/local/bin/mp2mixd [-g] <mesh file> [<data file>]

The command line options are described below, and the <mesh file> is the file to be converted. Optional <data file> can be also processed (velocity field only at the moment).

Options

MP2MIXD accepts the following command line options:

OptionDescriptionDefault
-g enable debugging output cross
That's it.
