WebDAV Authoring
The current CATS Plone web server lets account holders access (and in some cases modify) its content through WebDAV filesystem-like interface. In Mac OS X, one can simply select Connect to Server... from the Go menu in the Finder, and enter the web server address (http://www.cats.rwth-aachen.de). After logging in, one sees the web site content in a new Finder window. Such access is restricted to the RWTH network.
Another WebDAV-enabled server is the legacy manila server.
