XNS
XNS is a finite element flow simulation program. The following sets of governing equations are represented:

XNS usage: compilation • validation • application and validation cases • input
XNS design: flowchart (4-page PDF) • flowchart (1-page PDF)
XNS details: frame alignment • mesh mutation • elastic mesh update • shape functions • element codes
XNS development: technotes • to-do list • news
XNS variants: shape optimization
Data Requirements
XNS operates directly on the standard MIXD format mesh files.
System Requirements
The program runs on many machines ranging from CATS Mac OS X workstations and Xserve cluster, to the Sun cluster at the RWTH Computing Center and the Blue Gene/L at the Research Center Jülich.
Usage
Some of the places where XNS can be found:
/usr/local/bin/xnson CATS Chimera~cc046be/bin/sun4/xnson RWTH RZ Sun~cc046be/bin/i386/xnson RWTH RZ AMD
Screenshots
Did we mention that XNS lacks any GUI whatsoever? The idea of screenshots ripped off from PHOENIX page.
