Hollywood Glamour in Aachen

On 24th July 2015, in conclusion of the two European conferences YIC GACM and AC.CES at RWTH Aachen, the conferences hosted US star Dr. Mayim Bialik from “The Big Bang Theory” as a guest speaker.
The neuroscientist Dr. Mayim Bialik, who is best known for her current role as Amy Farrah Fowler in the US sitcom “The Big Bang Theory”, talked about “The Science of Big Bang”, reporting on her exploration of the two worlds of science and acting and her own experience with “nerds” as portrayed in the comedy series.
The over 250 audience members were delighted by the absorbing combination of scientific content and entertaining anecdotes.
