Research Training Group with UT Austin funded


International Research Training Group IRTG 2379 "Modern Inverse Problems" (MỊP) with University of Texas at Austin will be funded by the German Research Association DFG over the next four and a half years.

Thirteen new doctoral positions will be filled by October 2018, including two in planned projects at CATS: (P1) "Novel Stabilized Finite-Element Methods for Microstructured and Complex Fluids", PI Marek Behr, co-PI Leszek Demkowicz, and (P4) "Modeling and Simulation of Solidification with Isogeometric Interface Tracking Methods", PI Stefanie Elgeti, co-PI Thomas J.R.
